Dear Fellow Travelers,
I was once on a pilgrimage when one of the pilgrims asked our guide a really great question.
“What can we do to support Christians in the Holy Land?”
We were all aware of the plight of Christians living in that area of the world, and how their numbers are dangerously close to extinction, so naturally we were thinking in terms of donations, and to whom we could send them. The guide’s answer moved me to tears.
“Don’t give us your money. Your churches already do that. Bring us your people so we can tell them our story. Bring them home.”
So that’s what I’m doing.
My passion for travel started in the early ’90’s, when I received my first credit card with a $1000 limit, and walked straight into a travel agency offering round trip tickets to London Heathrow for $999. It didn’t occur to me until after this purchase that I didn’t have a dime to my name and had no way to finance a trip to Europe! A British working visa took care of that and the rest was history.
25 years and 30+ countries later, I ended up in the Holy Land. I had such a deep spiritual connection, and an irrevocable strengthening of faith, that I felt the overwhelming need to some how give people the opportunity to experience what I had experienced, to somehow help Christians come home. So after much prayer & discernment, wonderful support from some amazing people, and a few trips back to the Holy Land to sort out some details…Trinity Tours was born.
